We keep our team intentionally small and book dogs with the same team member each time so that every dog who comes through our door can feel safe and comfortable with their person.
It's a fact that grooming can be inherently stressful for dogs, but we prioritize ensuring each dog is treated with the compassion and respect they deserve. By keeping a dog with the same person, it ensures they can build trust and learn the routine, which reduces stress and can even reduce how long they're in the salon. Dogs who have a good routine with their groomer often finish faster!

Kelsi
Kelsi is our grooming apprentice and bather here at Luce Pet Services. She has been working as a professional dog bather since 2023 and has loved helping dogs look and feel their best. Through her experience, she has developed a passion for animal care and enjoys building positive relationships with both pets and their owners. Kelsi is currently apprenticing to become a groomer and is excited to continue expanding her skills and knowledge in the grooming industry. She is dedicated to creating a calm, comfortable experience for every dog she works with and takes pride in helping them feel safe, clean, and confident. When you visit Luce Pet Services, there's a good chance Kelsi will be ready to give your pup plenty of love and attention while helping them look their absolute best.
Makenna's journey into professional dog grooming began after bringing home her doodle, Rigby. What started as learning how to properly care for and groom her own dog quickly grew into a passion for the art and creativity of grooming. Inspired by that passion, she decided to pursue grooming professionally in 2020. Since then, Makenna has gained experience grooming dogs in both Tennessee and Florida, working with a wide variety of breeds, coat types, and personalities. She has a particular love for long, hand-scissored styles, terrier grooming, and creative grooms that allow her artistic side to shine. Dedicated to continued education, Mak is always seeking opportunities to learn new techniques and stay current with industry trends to ensure your pet has the best experience.
Bryce is an essential part of Luce Pet Services, working as the receptionist, handy man, grooming assistant, and scheduler. His love for dogs began after he and Makenna brought home Rigby, the first of their three dogs together. What started as loving his own furry best friend, has become a strong appreciation for the day-to-day life of a grooming business and the dogs that accompany it. Bryce has a special soft spot for senior dogs and is often the one making them feel most comfortable when they come in. While he helps keep the schedule organized and the front end of the business running smoothly, he can just as often be found in the grooming area showering dogs with affection - sometimes getting gently scolded for distracting them mid-groom with too many extra pets. His calm energy, kindness, and love for animals make him a valued and familiar presence at Luce Pet Services.
